About Joy

Hi, my name is Joy Halcott, and I’m a bookkeeper and Quickbooks Advanced ProAdvisor based in Baltimore, MD. Thanks to cloud technology, I have the privilege of working with business owners all over the country, handling their bookkeeping so they can stay focused on what they do best—growing their business.

Early in my career, I discovered a real passion for working with small and medium-sized businesses. There’s nothing more fulfilling than being a part of their success! That passion has driven me to specialize in this space for the past few years, where I’ve developed streamlined bookkeeping and financial strategies that help business owners increase profits and minimize taxes.

Though I was born and raised in Maryland, I earned my degree in International Business from SUNY Plattsburgh. Today, I live in Maryland with my husband, Paul, and our three children. In my free time, I enjoy giving back to my community, volunteering with the Civil Air Patrol, and raising aerospace awareness by participating in the Air Race Classic.
